SCHS 2019-2020 School Supply List

General Supplies:

  • Because of limited space, we do not ask parents to send in general supplies such as tissues, sanitizer, wipes, and paper towels.  We do ask that every student in grades 9-12 pay dues in the amount of $30 per year which will be used to purchase these supplies as well as lunch supplies (forks, spoons, etc).  Please make all checks payable to Seaside Schools.

 AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A

  • Flash drive required for this course - 32 GB recommended

 Algebra 1 Honors

  • Binder to hold class materials and notes - dividers recommended for organization
  • Calculator - phones will not be allowed as calculators on any assessments - TI83 or equivalent is recommended due to its requirement in future courses (Geometry, Algebra 2, College Algebra, Statistics, etc)
  • Calendar/scheduler/task manager is recommended to keep up with assignments

  • Compass (geometric compass, not navigational)

 Algebra 2 Honors

  • Graphing Calculator (preferably Texas Instruments brand)

 College Algebra/Pre-calculus

  • Graph paper

  • Graphing Calculator (preferably Texas Instruments brand)

 **CALCULATOR NOTE: Students enrolled in Geometry 1st semester followed by Algebra 2 2nd semester may use the Graphing Calculator in lieu of a scientific calculator to eliminate an unnecessary purchase. Texas Instruments brand is preferred, any edition of the TI-83 or TI-84. The TI-Inspire is not necessary.

  Biology:

  • 2 inch binder dedicated to biology; graph paper; loose-leaf notebook paper; pens/pencils

 Chemistry: 

  • 2 inch binder dedicated to chemistry; graph paper; loose-leaf notebook paper; pens/pencils; Scientific Calculator (does not have to be a graphing calculator TI-84), but many will need such for their math courses).

  • 5 subject spiral notebook (with pockets)
