Dr. Scott O'Prey, Principal

After graduating from the State University of New York, College at Cortland, Dr. O'Prey began his teaching career in Houston, Texas as a junior high social studies teacher. He also taught Government, United States and World History, Geography and Economics at the high school level. He completed his Masters degree at Sam Houston State University in Texas and went on to serve as an assistant principal at the middle school and high school levels. During his first principal assignment he finished his Doctorate in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Houston. Seacoast Collegiate High School is his seventh principal position leading schools Kindergarten through 12th grade. Before coming to Seaside School, he led a K-8 charter school in Georgia for four years where he served as principal and superintendent of the local education agency. Dr. O'Prey was named Head of School for Seaside School, Inc. and Principal of Seacoast Collegiate High School in June 2017.

Lori Atlas, Student Services Coordinator & Advisor

Lori Atlas has been working in education since 2005. She started working with Seaside Schools when Seacoast Collegiate High School opened in 2013. She has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida and will complete her dual Master's Degrees in 2021 from UCF. Her passion is working with students and watching them reach their goals. She is an advocate for students to enjoy their high school years while also getting the solid foundation they need to ensure they are successful in any route they choose for their future. She is the advisor for students with the last names A-L.

Stacey Creter, Guidance Counselor

Stacey Creter received her Master’s Degree in Education for Guidance and Counseling from the State University of West Georgia and her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Presbyterian College. Ms. Creter is a Licensed Professional Counselor who began her career as a child, adolescent and family therapist in Macon, Georgia, at the Community Mental Health Center. She spent the past 11 years as an elementary school counselor at Springdale Elementary School in Macon, Georgia. Ms. Creter enjoys reading, traveling and spending time outdoors with family and friends. Her son currently attends Georgia College.

Jillian Alexander, Leadership

Jillian Alexander is a leadership and personal development aficionado who feels incredibly privileged to be teaching both Leadership Development and AP Art History at Seacoast Collegiate High School. She holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and School Improvement from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor's degree in Modern British Literature from George Mason University. She has worked in both the United States and the United Kingdom before coming to the teaching world, including stints at Virginia Tech, Oregon Tech, and NIKE, Inc. Whether teaching logic, presentation skills, critical analysis, or the fundamentals of art, there is nothing Jillian enjoys more than helping students reach past what they think is possible.

Katrina Black, Math

Katrina Black graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics Education from Florida State University and a Master’s Degree in Mathematical Sciences from the University of West Florida. She began her teaching career in Georgia where she taught for one year before moving back to the panhandle. Back in Florida, she taught high school Math and Physics for three years in Bay County. This is Ms. Black’s eigth year since joining the Seaside faculty as the Math Instructor Seacoast Collegiate High School. She teaches Algebra 1 Honors, Geometry Honors, dual enrolled Pre-Calculus, and College Algebra.

Christopher Eby, Technology & Math

Chris Eby is from Blountstown. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from Chipola College and his Master's Degree in Mathematics Education from Florida State University. He is certified in Math K-6, Math 6-12, and ESE K-12. Mr. Eby taught in Liberty County for seven years. He loves math, sports, computers/technology, and helping students grow into successful adults. Mr. Eby currently teaches Algebra 1, Financial Algebra, Internet Business Associates, and AP Computer Science Principles.

Katherine Gallagher, History

Katherine Gallagher received her Bachelor’s degree in Art and Art History from Florida State University in 2003 and her Master’s degree in Art at the University of Tennessee in 2007. She previously taught at Gulf Coast State College (Panama City, FL) for 13 years and Polk State College (Winter Haven, FL) for 4 years before joining Seacoast Collegiate High School. She currently teaches US History, AP US History, and Pre-AP World History.
