This iconic event, which includes a USATF-certified Half Marathon and 5K, kicks off with the Taste of the Race culinary event and a Race Expo. All proceeds benefit the SEASIDE SCHOOL FOUNDATION™, supporting SEASIDE NEIGHBORHOOD SCHOOL™ and Seacoast Collegiate High School, making it a vital fundraiser for one of Florida's top-performing public charter schools. The 22nd Annual SEASIDE SCHOOL™ Half Marathon & 5K Race Weekend presented by SEASIDE® concluded with resounding success, raising an impressive $545,000 in net proceeds to support the educational initiatives of THE SEASIDE SCHOOL™. Held over Presidents' Day weekend, February 16-18, 2024, in Seaside, FL, the event welcomed participants from across the nation, the United Kingdom, Finland, Andorra, and garnered support from the local community.

The recent lottery for admission to THE SEASIDE SCHOOL™ for the 2024-2025 academic year, highlighted the strong partnership between THE SEASIDE SCHOOL™ and the Walton County School District. With record-breaking application numbers and a waitlist exceeding 380 students, the demand for enrollment underscores the school's reputation as the top-performing public charter school in Florida. Both THE SEASIDE SCHOOL™ and the Walton County School District, emphasize their commitment to academic excellence and collaboration in providing exceptional educational opportunities for students.

Seacoast Collegiate High School is proud to announce that senior track and field star, Jonah Kirspel, has signed a full-ride academic and athletic scholarship with the University of Florida. Jonah, a two-time state champion in the 800-meter dash, will graduate with his AA degree from Northwest Florida State College through the dual enrollment program. With a stellar 4.0 GPA, Jonah exemplifies academic and athletic excellence. His parents commend Seacoast Collegiate for the dual enrollment opportunity, and Coach Parker expresses confidence in Jonah's continued success at UF and beyond. Only about 2% of high school athletes receive such scholarships, making Jonah's achievement truly exceptional.
