SEASIDE SCHOOL™ is proud to announce it has officially received a $9.5 million grant award from Triumph Gulf Coast to support a transformational campus expansion that will dramatically increase college access and career readiness opportunities for students in Walton County.

In partnership with Northwest Florida State College (NWFSC), this funding will support the construction and programming of a new, innovative dual enrollment and workforce training campus, set to open in August 2025. Once complete, the facility will serve more than 500 high school and dual enrollment students annually, including an additional 250+ students from across the county who would otherwise face significant barriers to higher education.

Dr. Tom Miller, Executive Director of SEASIDE SCHOOL™, emphasized the lasting impact of the award. “This grant will change the trajectory of hundreds of students each year. We’re not just building a campus—we’re building a future where every Walton County student has direct access to the education and skills they need to thrive in today’s economy.”

The expanded campus will offer full Associate in Arts (A.A.) degrees, an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Business Administration, and a robust menu of career certifications in emerging fields such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and drone technology.

Walton County is one of the fastest-growing counties in Florida, yet it has long lacked a dedicated collegiate hub in the South Walton community. This project removes that barrier, eliminating a lengthy commute to Niceville and allowing students to earn up to 60 college credits tuition-free—saving families an average of $50,000 in college expenses per student.

The campus will be built in two phases. Phase One, opening this fall, includes two academic buildings—one for Seacoast Collegiate High School and one for NWFSC. Phase Two includes a community and innovation center—a hub for entrepreneurship, workforce training, and the Dream Big Program, which connects students with real-world experiences through public-private partnerships.

With this grant and the ongoing support of families, donors, and community leaders, SEASIDE SCHOOL™ is ushering in a new era of public education—one rooted in excellence, innovation, and opportunity.
