Athletics

The athletic program at SEASIDE SCHOOL™ strives to assist each student reach their athletic potential; building skills, training for a sport, and increasing confidence, self-esteem, and sportsmanship. This is accomplished through the participation of parents, coaches, and the community working together. The Florida High School Athletic Association guides our athletics program. Fifth graders are allowed to participate on the junior varsity teams only.

All students must submit an FHSAA Physical Evaluation Form and FHSAA Consent and Release Form before participating. They must also complete online training on "Concussion in Sports,” "Heat Illness Prevention,” "Sudden Cardiac Arrest,” and "Sportsmanship."

SEASIDE SCHOOL™ allows eligible private or home school students the opportunity to participate in its athletic programs. The player must submit an application to Middle School Athletic Director Cat Ryland at rylandc@seasideschools.net or High School Athletic Director Dan Bump at bumpd@seasideschools.net within ten (10) days before the first official sports day.

Athletic Clearance

SEASIDE SCHOOL™ is now using an online platform for all Athletic Clearances. Student athletes will need current paperwork to participate in preseason practice and complete athlete clearance before participation in SEASIDE SCHOOL™ Athletic Teams.

  • EL2 Physical Form
  • EL3 Consent & Release Form
  • NFHS Course Certifications (4 Courses): Concussion in Sports, Heat Illness Prevention, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and Sportsmanship. All athletes are required to complete these four courses and save the certificate of completion. Click here to complete the courses.
  • The athletic fees are due upon selection for each team. Payment links will be provided after try outs and/or the first practice of the season.

The online platform we are using is called HOME CAMPUS to sign documents electronically and upload course certificates. Each student must sign up and submit paperwork in this online system. Below are the instructions to sign up for HOME CAMPUS. No student athlete paperwork will be accepted outside of electronic submissions in HOME CAMPUS. Go to www.athleticclearance.com, choose Florida, and create a new account to get started.
